What is Flo CRS?

Flo CRS is a large volume nasal and sinus irrigation or wash that has been formulated for severe sinus congestion and sinusitis.

Flo CRS is a non-medicated, preservative-free, isotonic irrigation solution for washing the nose and sinus cavities. It’s gentle to use and helps to thin mucus and clear irritants to temporarily relieve nasal and sinus congestion.

Flo CRS is a Xylitol formulation that has a very low concentration of salts (sodium and potassium).

How to use Flo sachets on daily basis?

Follow the coming steps:

  1. First time use – Thoroughly wash the bottle, tube and cap with warm soapy water using a bottle brush to clean all surfaces. Rinse all components with clean tap water and dry using a clean paper towel.

  2. Fill the bottle to the 200mL Fill Line using luke-warm pre-boiled water. Always boil water for 1-2 minutes before cooling until luke-warm.

  3. NOTE: If more convenient, boiled water may be stored in a clean container in the refrigerator for up to 48 hours. You may reheat the water in the FLO® bottle using a microwave oven in 5 second bursts.

  4. Cut or tear open one sachet of FLO® powder. Using the guidelines, fold out sachet into a funnel shape and pour the entire contents into the FLO® bottle.

  5. Screw the cap and tube firmly onto the bottle and shake until all the powder has dissolved. The mixture is now ready for use.

  6. Standing over a basin, bend forward and tilt your head down so your chin almost touches your chest. Insert the cap gently into one nostril. Whilst breathing through the mouth, steadily and gently squeeze the bottle until the solution drains from the opposite nostril or from the mouth. No harmful effects will occur if some of the solution is swallowed. Whenever the bottle needs to refill with air, remove it from your nose before releasing hand pressure to prevent “suck back” and contamination of the remaining solution.

  7. Repeat above steps until approximately half of the solution has been used (100mL Half Line is indicated on the bottle for your reference).

  8. Repeat procedure on other nostril.

  9. Gently blow your nose to clear any remaining fluid and mucus. NOTE: If you have recently had nasal or sinus surgery, do not blow your nose before checking wih your surgeon.

  10. Discard any remaining solution in the bottle. Always make a fresh solution for each treatment.

  11. Cleaning after use. Clean all components thoroughly using FLO Cleaning Solution (sold separately). This removes bacterial biofilms (a slime in which bacteria live), mucus and other forms of soiling from all the surfaces of the wash bottle to help keep your FLO kit clean.

  12. After cleaning, rinse all components with tap water. Thoroughly dry all components using a clean paper towel. Reassemble FLO® kit and store in the refrigerator until next needed.

How many times must I use Flo CRS?

For best results, use twice daily or as recommended by your healthcare professional.

Always read the label. Use as directed. Consult your healthcare practitioner if symptoms persist.
